Library Community Art Gallery

The City of Walnut Creek, in conjunction with the Walnut Creek Downtown Library, is introducing a new program: Exhibitions in the Library Community Art Gallery. This new program is part of the Arts, Recreation and Community Services Department, which will administer it under the direction of the Walnut Creek Arts Commission.
Deadline for 1st Library Community Art Gallery review of submissions is May 21 , 2010 at 5:00 p.m.

For complete details about showing artwork at the library, visit the Library Community Art Gallery site.

An ongoing series of installations by Bay Area artists

Located in the first floor lobby of the Lesher Center for the Arts, the Art Site Space is nestled under the Grand Stairway. Local artists working in three-dimensional media are invited to submit proposals to exhibit their work and transform the Art Site into a visual greeting for patrons entering the Center, visiting Bedford Gallery, or going to a performance.

Submitting Work or Proposals to Bedford Gallery

Although Bedford Gallery's exhibitions are planned well in advance, the Curator is often reviewing work and proposals. Artists are encouraged to send by regular mail or courier:

• 20 images or 15 minutes video/sound maximum. Digital files on CD or DVD.
• Resume
• Articles and/or reviews of work
• Artist's statement

Materials will not be returned.
