Bg Art Mornings
During each exhibition, we host Bg Art Morning, a lively discussion with curator Carrie Lederer, exhibiting artists, and art experts. Topics include art-making, current trends, and ideas presented in the show. Questions are encouraged, and the program is followed by a docent tour of the gallery. Join us for a coffee, refreshments, and an insider's look at the exhibtion.
Culture + Cocktails
Join us Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the last week of each exhibition for a look at the current exhibition, music, and conversation in the gallery. Themes and activities may vary. Admission includes complimentary beverage. (Must be 21+).

Guided Docent Tours of Bedford Gallery Exhibitions
Free docent-led tours for individuals every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
Group tours are available by appointment for $45 for groups with fewer than 15 people or $70 for school tours and groups of 15-30. Tour fees include gallery admission. Tours for children's groups/classrooms include an age-appropriate art project following the tour.
how to schedule a tour
1. Select Tour Date and Time
School Groups: School tours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or other days by special arrangement. Tours start at 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. To reserve a tour e-mail Melanie Chang at: gallerytours@bedfordgallery.org or call her at 925/295-1416. Provide the following information: preferred tour date, time, group size, grade, name of teacher and school, contact name and phone number. Include the best time to return calls.

$70 per tour (school tours and adult tours of 15-30 people)
$45 for small-group adult tour (fewer than 15 people)
Tours are normally limited to 30; special arrangements can be made. We expect many of this year's School Group Tours to be booked by the end of fall. Please make your reservations early. Your reservation is confirmed when you receive written confirmation of the tour date.
Tour Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships covering School Group Tour fees and transportation costs are available through the Arts Access program of the Diablo Regional Arts Association. Call Melanie Chang at Bedford Gallery: 925/295-1416 or email her at gallerytours@bedfordgallery.org to ask about applying for a tour scholarship.
Chaperone Policy
(School Groups and other groups of children under age 12)
One adult per six children. Adults accompanying children's groups are responsible for supervising children at all times. No children may be left unattended in the Gallery at any time. Nametags for groups of children are essential.

A two-week notice is required to receive a refund. There are no refunds for cancellations of school tours made during school vacations.
Our programs are flexible; we will work to meet special needs.
