Join Creative Growth artist Dinah Shapiro for a vibrant freestyle art session where creativity flows! Dinah will share insights into her process—rooted in nature, totems, and emotions—before everyone dives into making their own unique artwork alongside her. With wood scraps, Posca pens, Sharpies, and sandpaper, you'll experiment freely and let your personal inspiration take shape. This is a space to create, connect, and explore art together—no rules, just expression!

Get your tickets early, space is limited! All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Aides are welcome to attend with participants, please let us know in advance so we can make accommodations. Tickets: $25 GA / $20 Donor per participant. This is an inclusive community workshop! About the Artist:

Dinah Shapiro is a multidisciplinary artist, drawing, crocheting, and sculpting at Creative Growth for over twenty-five years. Describing her style as ‘freestyle art,’ she intricately depicts people, animals, and scenes with detailed black ink drawings akin to spiderwebs. Shapiro views art making as a cathartic process allowing her to channel her emotions into her work.
