Public Art Walking Tours
Bedford Gallery offers one hour docent-led walking tours of Walnut Creek's downtown public art collection every third Saturday, April through November.
Our Docents are trained by public art specialists and offer information and insight appropriate for all ages.
New! Public Art Walking Tours are now Pay What You Can! While reservations are not required, we suggest purchasing your ticket ahead of time. To buy, click on your desired tour date below. Alternately, you may purchase your tickets the morning of the tour at the Lesher Center Ticket Office, which opens one hour prior to the tour start time. If you would like to attend with a group of 6 or more, please email galleryinfo@bedfordgallery.org or call 925-295-1417 so that we may accommodate your group.
Start Location
Meet at the Lesher Center for the Arts Plaza (1601 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek, CA). Wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen.
Time
Tours start at 10 a.m. and are approximately 1 hour.

Explore downtown, and learn about Public Art and the history of Walnut Creek through these printable Scavenger Hunts. Use the Walk Walnut Creek App to get hints and answers.
Be sure to look for the pink and orange Public Art and Heritage Signs along the route. Turn in your completed scavenger hunt sheet to Bedford Gallery or The Shadelands Ranch Museum to get free admission!
